East European Rock Alliance 2025: Empowering Emerging Rock Artists Across Borders
The East European Rock Alliance 2025 (EERA) is proud to announce the launch of an ambitious international initiative funded by the European Union. Designed to empower young and emerging rock artists across Eastern Europe, EERA is the first initiative of its kind to unite Romania, Poland, and Slovakia in a cross-border collaboration and is set to ignite the East European rock scene, combining raw talent with seasoned icons to shape the future of rock music.
With the support of renowned partners and a dynamic lineup of activities, EERA 2025 promises to be a transformative experience for artists and fans alike. From an online platform connecting musicians to a thrilling international tour and culminating in a spectacular final festival, the project is a celebration of the region’s vibrant rock scene.
What’s in Store for Rock Fans and Artists?
International Tour
Catch the explosive energy of Dirty Shirt (RO), Łydka Grubasa (PL), and Heľenine Oči (SK) as they set stages ablaze across East Europe in a tour that kicks off on February 28th in Bucharest, Romania and travels through the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Young Talents Contest
We’re scouting the next big thing! Emerging rock bands from across East Europe can take the stage and show the world what they’ve got. Winners will join forces with EERA’s headliners on the final festival lineup and they will receive monetary prizes and rewards consisting in equipment, software, studio time and more provided by the EERA’s partners.
Workshop “Do-It-Yourself Strategies for Young and Emerging Bands”
From mastering your craft to navigating the music industry jungle, this workshop is designed to empower independent artists with the tools they need to succeed and it will feature lectures and testimonials from professionals and artists, including representatives from the three project partners, offering a comparative perspective between countries. The workshop will be open for free audience participation and will also be streamed live and available online.
EERA FESTIVAL
Taking place in Bucharest, Romania in October 2025 and featuring an impressive lineup of international headliners, the three touring powerhouses – Dirty Shirt (RO), Łydka Grubasa (PL) and Heľenine Oči (SK) -winners of the Young Talents Contest and other east european acts, EERA Final Festival bridges generations and showcases the power of East European rock.
