East European Rock Alliance 2025 is an international collaboration project involving three partners from Romania, Poland, and Slovakia. The project is dedicated to supporting young talents and emerging rock artists from East Europe in developing their international careers. It encompasses an online platform, a music workshop, a young talents contest, an international tour, and a final festival.
The online platform aims to create an environment facilitating quick access to information and collaboration opportunities for young and emerging bands from East Europe. It will feature an artist portal, a geolocated database with venues, festivals, media, and a dedicated section for the young talents contest. The contest comprises three distinct sections: Romania & Moldova, Slovakia & Czech Republic, and Poland & Ukraine. Section winners will advance to the international live final, integrated into the EERA final festival, and they will receive monetary prizes and rewards provided by the project organizations and private partners.
The music workshop, centered around the theme “Do It Yourself strategies and tools for young and emerging artists,” will feature lectures and testimonials from professionals and artists, including representatives from the three project partners, offering a comparative perspective between countries. The workshop will be open for free participation by the audience and will also be broadcasted and available online.
The international tour is a musical journey across four countries, with concerts in Romania, Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic and will include participation in two associated festivals. The project culminates with a two-day festival in Romania, featuring bands from East European countries where the fusion of rock music and various influences, including traditional music, takes center stage.
