EERA YOUNG TALENT CONTEST – FINAL RANKING

The EERA Young Talent Contest International Final took place during the EERA- East European Rock Alliance Festival (31.10–01.11.2025, Arenele Romane, Bucharest) – alongside incredible performances by Lacrimosa & Haggard (Germany), Dirty Shirt (Romania), Heľenine Oči (Slovakia), Łydka Grubasa (Poland), Thy Catafalque (Hungary) and Harmasar (Moldova)!

The EERA Project celebrates European cultural diversity, creativity, and collaboration through music! Its mission is to connect and support young and emerging rock artists from across Europe, promote cross-border artistic exchange, and offer emerging bands real opportunities to perform internationally.

EERA Young Talent Contest gathered 130 bands from 6 countries, with around 90 officially entering the contest after meeting the eligibility rules. After the online selection, the best bands from each section performed live at the international final during EERA Festival!

International Finalists:

The finalists were chosen by a the public and a jury of 25 professionals – musicians, journalists, and partners – and evaluated at the final by an international jury of 13 members:

After an intense final, the results were unbelievable – a perfect tie! Each band scored 26 points. The second criterion (number of maximum points) decided the final ranking:

🏆 1st place: THE VOODOO CHILD (Romania) – 26 points, 6 maximum
🏆 2nd place: MY OWN ABYSS (Poland) – 26 points, 4 maximum
🏆 3rd place: BLACK ROW (Czech Republic) – 26 points, 3 maximum
