EERA Young Talents Contest Kicks Off

The East European Rock Alliance (EERA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the EERA Young Talent Contest, a music competition for emerging rock bands from Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine. This is an excellent opportunity for young rock bands to gain exposure, professional development, and incredible prizes, including a chance to perform at the EERA Festival in Bucharest, one of the largest rock music festivals in the region.

With a total prize pool worth over €10,000, the contest offers €4,500 in cash, cutting-edge music equipment, studio recording sessions, live gigs, and professional support to help bands grow in their careers.

The contest is open to young rock bands, consisting of members aged 18-30, with at least half of the band members being residents of one of the eligible countries. All bands must perform original rock music (cover bands are not eligible).

How to Apply
Bands interested in participating can register online at rock-alliance.eu from 30.04.2025 to 01.06.2025. Detailed information on the registration process, including the required materials, is available on the contest website.

• Phase 1 (Online Competitions): 02.06 – 15.06.2025 (midnight, CET)
• International Final: 31.10 – 01.11.2025 at EERA Festival, Arenele Romane, Bucharest
