LACRIMOSA joins the EERA 2025 Festival Lineup
The East European Rock Alliance 2025 (EERA2025) is proud to announce a second major headliner for its final festival in Bucharest: the legendary German gothic and symphonic metal act LACRIMOSA.
Founded in 1990 by Tilo Wolff and joined by Finnish vocalist Anne Nurmi, LACRIMOSA are pioneers of gothic metal, combining haunting melodies, powerful orchestration, and theatrical performances. From their early hits like ‘Alles Lüge’ and ‘Schakal’ to their groundbreaking collaborations with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg, LACRIMOSA have left a lasting mark on the rock music scene.
With over a million social media followers and an enduring fanbase across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, LACRIMOSA’s inclusion in the EERA2025 lineup marks one of the most anticipated moments of the festival. Their new album ‘Lament’ concludes the epic symphonic-metal trilogy that began with ‘Testimonium’ in 2017 and continued with ‘Leidenschaft’ in 2021.
The EERA2025 Final Festival will take place on October 31 and November 1 at Arenele Romane in Bucharest, Romania. LACRIMOSA will share the stage with previously announced headliner HAGGARD, as well as Dirty Shirt, Łydka Grubasa, Heľenine Oči, and the winners of the EERA Young Talents Contest.
