Tabačka Kulturfabrik is a unique cultural center and open zone for art, creativity and collaboration in Košice. Tabačka supports a multicultural society, open-mindedness, experimentation, and creativity. It strives to provide an educational background and develop critical thinking. Tabačka is also an active subject in the development of local, regional and national cultural policies. It is strongly involved in cooperation with city and regional governments. Its people participated in the preparation of the UNESCO Creative City of Media Art and Regional Creative Center projects. They also participate in the creation of the KSK grant support system for cultural events and organizations.
Through cooperation with international partners, Tabačka Kulturfabrik resources also become resources that support the development of independent culture in Europe.
